“Four Piano Pieces”

For piano solo: a prelude and fugue which is jazzy and dancelike, written with the unorthodox procedure of answering the subject at the interval of a 5th,  Notturno Op. 10 #2 is at once romantic and bluesy with ornate upper register trills and tremolos inspired by an escaped canary,  and Whimsy, Op. 18 a fantastic, bizarre, salon piece with angular melodies and tipsy whims which form an eccentric waltz. For piano 4 hands:   Un Sogno d’Estate Op. 15  or a Summer’s Dream which depicts endless rain with an incessant pattering of 16th arabesques and trills, building to a stormy climax and dissolving back to it’s opening brooding pentatonic motive.
All four piano pieces are recorded on Mandala III “The Millenium” and are available as a set for $20.00. ($2.00 discount)
