The newly commissioned “Evening River Echoes” to be performed and recorded in live concert at the 2010 WA State Music Teacher’s Convention in Olympia, WA.  This is a chamber octet for flute, clarinet, violin, viola, contrabass, harp, piano and percussion which musically depicts the evening cacophony of river life along the shores of the Russian River as inspired by the composer’s childhood.

Keva Vaughan-McMorrow is the 2010 Washington State Composer of the Year. Performers are all principals in the Cascade Symphony Orchestra and the piano is a nine foot concert grand prepared by Edward McMorrow of Lighthammer pianos.

Stay tuned for updates.
